"Introduction of modern European approaches in the field of civil defence is the priority task of SES in 2017" - M. Chechotkin

On February 24 the Head of SES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin held a Public Report of "On results of SES of Ukraine in 2016" during the open meeting of the SES Board.

"I would like to emphasize that we have implemented all the objectives that were set by the state leadership, the Government and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Due to the right generalship, courage and dedication of personnel services, we have a number of achievements, which we can rightly be proud of. 3605 people were saved, total number of  victims was reduced, material damage from fires and emergencies decreased. The logistical support of fire and rescue units and the cash security of personnel were improved "- said Mykola Chechetkin.

It was also noted that the first significant reforms of SES of Ukraine started in 2016. The introduction of  modern European approaches in the field of civil defence is the priority task of SES in 2017.
