Premedical care courses at Lviv State University of Life Safety

On April 20, 2016 a Memorandum of Cooperation between the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the NGO "Protection of patriots» was signed in Kyiv.

NGO "Protection patriots" was established in May 2014 by Ulyana Suprun, who currently is a Minister of Health Service of Ukraine. The aim of the founding was to prepare soldiers of Premedical Defence Forces of Ukraine. The memorandum discussed the cooperation in the field of medical, logistical support and promote improvement of knowledge and skills of SES rescuers which usually first arrive at emergencies.

According to the order of Oleg Melchutskyi  two rounds of training for staff from Zakarpattia, Khmelnytsky, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Ternopil regions will be held on the basis of our University. The first training will last from March 13 to March 18 and the second - from March 20 to March 25. As a result of cooperation of NGO "Protection patriots" and Lviv State University of Life Safety, firefighters who take a direct part in disaster management will be transferred to current and relevant knowledge and skills to provide premedical care.
