Visual aid room, dedicated to Taras Shevchenko's birthday

On March 16 а special visual aid room, dedicated to 203-rd anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth was organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies. In the introductive speech lecturer Halyna Hlypavka stressed that Shevchenko is considered as the father of the nation, as he remembered  Ukrainians about their glorious history, awakened sense of national dignity in their minds and that led our people to the state. According to Shevchenko Prize laureate Ivan Malkovych, Shevchenko's "Kobzar", always was and  still remains a Constitution for Ukrainian People. Cadets had the chance to watch scientific-documentary "Kobzar"  about the history of this book.
