"Support for the education of voluntary fire brigades and professional qualifications of rescue services in Ukraine". International project review
Representatives of the Department of Fire Tactic and Rescue Works within the "Polish Aid 2017" program participated in the international project "Support for the education of voluntary fire brigades and professional qualifications of rescue services in Ukraine". Such institutions as he Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw, the Main Department of SES of Ukraine in Lviv Regiin and the Voluntary Fire Protection Association of Lviv Region also participated in the project.
Within the framework of the project, special training at the Container Type Training Complex on the basis of the Main School of the Fire Service (Campino National Park of the Republic of Poland) was carried out.
Training included theoretical and practical stages of the process:
- extinguishing fires in residential buildings and industrial facilities;
- organization of emergency rescue works in case of chemical accidents;
- carrying out of emergency rescue works on rescuing people in a limited space of underground communications.
In addition, the deputy head of the Department Vasyl Lushch and Associate Professor of the Department Dmitro Chaly went through the stage of training in a fire box for psychological training of the personnel of fire and rescue units.
Associate professors of the Department, Dmytro Chaly and Olexander Lazarenko also underwent training for the extinguishing of gas refueling liquids on a special simulator under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The next stage of the project is the establishment of a training complex of container type at the University campus and the practical training of all participants in the four-party agreement and the improvement of the qualifications of the staff of SES of Ukraine.
