Celebration of the 70th anniversary of the University

On October 19, the Fifth International Scientific and Practical Conference "Information and Communication Technologies in Modern Education: Experience, Problems, Prospects" devoted to the 70th anniversary of Lviv State University of Life Safety began its work at the University.

    Prominent scientists from Ukraine and abroad came to us to discuss important issues facing our society and education as new challenges to our time. These problems include: the powerful development of the latest information technologies, which require new approaches in the training of specialists in life safety; globalization and technological processes in the world; a booming information environment and the development of culture in it, and others. Scientists exchange their new ideas and vision of the development of the latest information technologies in education.

    The conference was opened by the rector of the Lviv State University of Life Safety, Lieutenant-General of the Civil Protection Service, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mikhaylo Kozyar. The plenary session was attended by: Frantsishek Shlesek  - Habilitated Doctor of Science, Professor, Head of the Scientific Society "Poland-Ukraine", Director of the Institute of Pedagogy of the Academy of Special Pedagogics named after Maria Gzhezhezhevskaya, foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Valeriy Bykov - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Information Technologies and Training of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Alan Flowers - Doctor in Experimental Nuclear Physics, Professor, Senate Member of Kingston University, Honorary Advisor to the European Youth Parliament, Honorary Doctor of the Lviv State University of Life Safety;  Nellya Nychkalo - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Full Member (academician), National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Professional Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honorary Doctor of Lviv State University of Life Safety; Larysa Lukyanova  - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Pedagogical Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Urshula Yerushka  - Habilitated Doctor of Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of Labor and Andragogy at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Academy of Special Pedagogics named after Maria Gzhezozhevskaya in Warsaw; Oleg Spirin - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of Information Technologies and Training of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Eugenia Iwona Lyaska - Habilitated Doctor of Science, Ordinary Professor, Ignatian Academy in Krakow (suburban department in Katowice); Richard Bera - Habilitated Doctor, Professor of Medicine, Head of the Department of Pedagogy of Labor and Androgology at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin.
Alumni of all ages, veterans, heads of structural divisions of the SES of Ukraine and other guests came to the educational institution to share the joy on the occasion of the grand holiday - the 70th anniversary of the Lviv State University of Life Safety!
