Solemn Academy on the stage of Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater

Celebration of he 70th anniversary of our University continued on the stage of the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. Greeting speeches were made by the Head of the SES of Ukraine Mykola Chechotkin, Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Oleg Synutka, Head of the Lviv Regional Council Olexander Ganushchyn, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, President of the National Academy of Sciences of UkraineVasyl Kremin, Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Nellya Nychkalo, Deputy Head of the Board of Directors of Universities of Lviv Region Volodymyr Snitynskyi, Brigadier General, Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service of the Republic of Poland (2007-2015) Weslaw Lesniakiewicz, President of the Association of Educational Institutions of the European Alliance for Workers in the Field of Human Security EFCA Whim Beckmann, Honorary Advisor to the European Youth Parliament Alan Flowers. After the speeches a number of the University employees were awarded with various degrees of distinction.
After the solemn part of the academy a festive concert began. Under the light of sophistes, the artistic talents of our educational institution blossomed with bright colors. The concert was opened with the song "Let's sing a song for Ukraine" (written by Alexander Ponomariov), which inspired all present with patriotic feelings of love for the Motherland, pride for her, a desire to serve her and work for her fame! And then, cadets, students and workers made performances in different artistic genres giving spectators a bright wreath of their talents.
Traditionally, the concert was completed by the "Marsh of the Firemen", which was sung by the whole hall of the Lviv Opera Theatre.
