Student Serhiy Lutsuk became prizewinner of All-Ukrainian competition of student research works

​The final scientific and practice conference of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works of 2013/2014 academic year in the domain of science “Applied geometry, engineering graphics and ergonomics” was held in Kharkiv National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute".

Faculty of pre-University training and postgraduate education provides training for workers of State Emergency Service of Ukraine

​At the Faculty of pre-University training and postgraduate education of Lviv State University of Life Safety on 16 - 28 December chiefs (assistants) of the regular changes of Operational and Coordination Center, senior inspectors (specialists) during work with staff as well as chiefs of liaison office with mass media and Public Information Cell improved their qualification and specialization.

Scientific and Technical council of State Emergency Service of Ukraine determined the main issues of scientific support for the next year

Members of Scientific and Technical Council presidium of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine determined priorities of scientific functioning support of SES of Ukraine for 2014.
Council meeting of Deputy Chairman of SES of Ukraine Anatoliy Boyko was held on  December  12. Taras Rak, who is colonel of Civil Defence, vice-rector of scientific and research work of Lviv State University of Life Safety and Doctor of Engineering Science took part in this meeting.

Scientist of the University took part in the International Congress «Information management and processing 2013»

​On December 7-8, 2013 Department of Information Security Management of  Lviv State University of Life Safety was presented at the International Congress "Information Management and processing 2013" in Krakow, Poland.

Congratulations on successful defence of the thesis!

On November 29, 2013 two thesis defences  for obtaining academic degree of candidate of engineering sciences 21.06.02 – Fire Safety took place in Lviv State University of Life Safety in a panel session of Specialized Scientific Board К 35.874.01.
 

Scientists of the University were involved in international investigative project in the area of human safety

​Lviv State University of Life Safety was visited by professor Z. Yegingil (Turkey) and professor S. Ubizskyi (Ukraine) who realize investigative project «New dosimetry for establishing care assistance sequence for people who were affected by ionizing emission» which is as a part of NATO programme «Science for the sake of peace and safety».

Our university scholar has participated in a forum dedicated to information security issues

​Yuriy Lakh, an Assocaite professor of the department of information security management presented his report at the 7th International conference IEEE "Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications" (IDAACS’2013) which took place in Berlin on September 12-14, 2013. 

Віце-прем'єр-міністр України Олександр Вілкул запропонував створити нову систему цивільного захисту населення

     «Необхідна нова сучасна система цивільного захисту, яка дозволить підвищити швидкість реагування на надзвичайні ситуації природного та техногенного характеру, забезпечить чітку координацію дій структур, що задіяні під час надзвичайних ситуацій – влади, комунальних служб, рятувальників, армії, волонтерів та створить можливості для оперативного інформування населення», – сказав Віце-прем’єр-міністр України Олександр Вілкул на засіданні Уряду.

Представники ДСНС України обмінювались досвідом із польськими колегами

     Понад 20 курсантів та ад’юнктів  Львівського державного університету безпеки життєдіяльності, представники територіальних підрозділів ДСНС України у Рівненській, Вінницькій областях й Криму взяли участь у міжнародному проекті, який реалізується в рамках співпраці Львівського навчального закладу та  Центральної школи Державної пожежної охорони м. Ченстохова (Республіка Польща).

В Університеті проведена фінальна частина IX конкурсу перекладачів серед старшокласників

     20 квітня, у Львівському державному університеті безпеки життєдіяльності відбулася фінальна частина IX конкурсу перекладачів серед старшокласників «Львів Європейський».
