Спортивні події

On October, 29 in the center of Lviv GRAND PRIX LVIV HALF MARATHON took place.  It was attended by more than 4 thousand athletes. The team of our university, consisting of 4 people, won the championship among the universities of Lviv in the category University Cup (2km).
It is necessary to note that the representatives of our educational institution always participate in events that promote sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Between May 3 and May 6 cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety (3rd year of study) Mykola Hutsulyak – a member of Lviv region team – took part in Kickboxing Ukraine Championship.

The Championship gathered over 400 fighters, including Champions of Europe and Ukraine. Mykola Hutsulyak competed among adults (25 years and older) in the weight category  55 kg.

On April 05-06, 2017 Lviv regional Championship  of "Dynamo" organization took place. Teams representing law enforcement agencies competed in in athletics and cross country running. Athletes from LSU LS  took part in the competition among the teams of the first group.
 

On March 10 representatives of LSULS unarmed self-defence team took part in the Spartakiad 2017 organized by Lviv regional organization "Dynamo". Our athlets took the 3rd team place in the first group and showed the following individual results:
- Petro Davydenko  (FS-3, category - 90 kg) - 2nd place;
- Nazar Sereda (CD-3, 82 kg) - 3rd place;
- Yuriy Rogovskiy (CD-3, 74 kg) - 3rd place;
- Maxym Marzhan (CD-4, 68 kg) - 2nd place.

The first stage of the SES of Ukraine Futsal Championship between the teams from Western took place in Chernivtsi. 7 teams representing Volyn, Zakarpattya, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi regions and Lviv State University of Live Safety took part in the competition. The team from Volyn region became the champions, Chernivtsi region got the silver and Lviv State University of Life Safety took the 3rd place.
