Training Range

One of the main tasks of the training range is to deepen theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills in the use of fire, rescue and special equipment for operational actions to eliminate the consequences of emergencies and firefighting.
At the training ground, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the institute installed a simulation unit for students to practice exercise to eliminate accidents in case of spillage of hazardous chemicals (liquefied ammonia, chlorine) from the tank during transportation. This technology of liquidation of similar accidents is acquired from rescuers of Sweden.
Educational, scientific and material base allows the training range workshops with cadets and students of the University in the following subjects:
"The organization of rescue operations" (with flood chemically hazardous substances in the destruction of buildings in the flood of metallic mercury, the accidents);
"Fire Tactics" (extinguish fires in basements, attics and floors of buildings);
"Fire and rescue equipment" (operation of small-scale mechanization and safety equipment).
Teaching and training range is located in Lviv on the street. Green, 301 b.
In the territory of training range there is a hostel, which creates comfortable conditions for cadets.
