It’s always challenging to take part in a scientific Congress where you can meet your colleagues and friends throughout the world! “Smart society 2019” in Czestochowa discussed urgent issues about new strategies of intellectual communication in the linguistic education of modern university. Today was the second day of the scientific Congress. The students proved that they are really smart, open-minded, and creative. Language, culture and communication are the key constituents of Smart Society.

Young scientists from Ukraine and Poland, as well as representatives of more than 30 high school and research
institutions came to Lviv State University of Life Safety to discuss vital issues of life safety and determine the priority
directions of development this branch in the future.
During the plenary and sectional sessions, 90 students and cadets took part in the conference, another 140
young scientists joined the conference distantly. The participants of the conference discussed the urgent issues of fire

Teachers and stuff of The University attended a seminar organized by Oxford University Press. They had an opportunity to get familiar with the latest books and resources, practice teaching skills and become more motivated in their work. Also, there was presented an opportunity to take an online placement test, to attend free seminars with native speakers and to use additional teacher resources on their website.

On the eve of the World Women's Day tepresentatives of our cadets and students government together with the Acting Skills Studio met all the women of Lviv State University of Life Safety with greetings and warm colors. For many years of fruitful activity, highly conscientious performance of duty, active social work, spiritual, moral, national, patriotic, cultural and aesthetic education of young specialists many women were awarded with diplomas from Ukrainian Association of War Veterans.

According to the age-old Ukrainian tradition, the Acting Skills Workshop and the Vocal Group, supported by the Cadets and Students Government Council, exhibited before the cadets, students, scientific and pedagogical staff of the University a fantastic performance "Christmas Eve".
