Refugees from East of Ukraine Participate in Workshop on Coloring Easter Eggs

The workshops on Easter egss coloring was organised by the department of Ukrainian Studies at Lviv State University of Life Safety. The workshop was led by the expert, Vira man'ko, who has been sharing her experience in creating the symbol of Resurrection and everlasting life for many years.
This year our University family has warmly invited those Ukrainians who were forced to leave their native cities and come to Lviv, to participate in the mysterious creation of easter eggs.

Public Lecture Held on Anti-corruption Legislation

On May 28 Maryana Kupchak, a senior lecturer from the department of law and management in civil defense, delivered a public lecture on "Legislation on Preventing and Combating Corruption."

​On March 21 under the guidance of Ukrainian Studies department the regular meeting of Regional scientific seminar «Ukraine, you are a miracle for me» was held. The representatives of all University institutes from different regions of Ukraine took part in the seminar.

Congratulations on successful defence of theses

On March 20 at Lviv State University of Life Safety on the session of Thesis Board K 35.874.01 two defences of PhD theses in Engineering Science with a degree in 21.06.02 – Fire Safety took place.

The tenth competition of translators among seniors "Lviv European" was held at the University

​On March 15, in Lviv on Second Round, the tenth translators competition among seniors "Lviv European" was held. The contest organizers were the translation company "Language Center" in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Technical Translation from Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Department of Translation Theory and Applied Linguistics named after H. Kochur from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

200th anniversary from the day on which Taras Shevchenko was born: literaly and musical composition “Kateryna”

Literary and Musical Composition of “Kateryna (Catherine)”(extract from  the poem) was held in Culture and Education center of the University. Oksana Germanovych, lecturer of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, was the.organizer and director of the event. 

Participants of the panel discussion have described the portrait of the modern hero

O. A. Kryvopyshyna, the head of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Science, has organized the panel discussion called "The Psychology of action: a portrait of the modern hero." The lecturers of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, humanities and social work, students and cadets with the cpecialization in  "Applied Psychology" of Lviv State University of Life Safety, as well as the lecturers and students of "Lviv Polytechnic" National University with the cpecialization in "Applied Psychology" and "Social work" took part in the meeting.

200th anniversary from the day on which Taras Shevchenko was born: Interuniversity Scientific Seminar of cadets and students “Modern reading of Taras Shevchenko”

On March, 11 the interuniversity scientific  seminar of cadets and students  “Modern reading of Taras Shevchenko” organized by the department of Ukrainian Studies as a part of the festivities of the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth was held.

The graduation of specialists was held in higher professional vocational school of LSU LS

​On March 6 the celebration on the occasion of the sixth graduation was held in  higher professional vocational school of  Lviv State University of Life Safety. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine joined  101  specialists of fire and rescue work.
