​February 28 educational process and working day in Lviv State University of Life Safety began with a memorial service at Church of intercession of the Holy Virgin for the peace of the dead activists of Euromaidan in Kyiv.

Cadets and students of Lviv State University of Life Safety participated in the national wide campaign "Light a Candle" as part of activities dedicated to the Commemoration Day of the Victims of Holodomor. 

                                                                                                               

                                                                                                                                                                  
                                               

Sergiy Karpa who is cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety of Ukraine stood on the highest podium steps for seven days. At first, it was the world championships, which was held in Rome, then - Ukraine Championship. 

​The VI National Scientific conference with international participation "Personality in extreme conditions" which was organized by the Department of Applied Psychology and Pedagogy took place in Lviv State University of Life Safety on 7 - 8 November.

​On September 13, 2013, within the framework of the XX International Publishers Forum in Lviv,  theatre group participants from Lviv State University of Life Safety (Yuriy Kalynchuk, Yulia Kovalchuk, Olexander Kurovskyi, Oleh Maksiutynsky, Taras Malashchuk, Olexander Yagotyn, Uliana Luchkovska) participated in the presentation of Ruslan Horovy’s book “Gagarin and Barcelona" with a theatrical staging of its selected parts under the supervision of Halyna Hlypavka from the Department of Ukrainian studies.
