On May 31 a contest "Miss LSULS - 2017" took place. 10 charming graces competed in a fair fight for the honorary title.  They demonstrated their own talents and during the parade in evening dresses.

On 25-27 May, 2017 International Forum on security INFOS-2017 took place at Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University. The Forum  brought togethe 150 experts on economic security of Ukraine and abroad. The subject of discussion was the prospects of the management of business entities in the context of economic security (MABEES).

People who graduated from  Lviv State University of Life Safety (Lviv Fire-Technical School) in 1967 attended the institution. These people. who created the history of the institution 50 years ago, continue to multiply our glorious tradition today.
The air was fulfilled with euphoria and joy of meeting.

On May 18-20 the VII Ukrainian Festival of Heroic and Patriotic Songs Among  SES of Ukraine Employees and Veterans took place Romny (Sumy Region). Our University was represented by Lt. Ilona Shevchenko, students Margaryta Lucash and Olexandra Demchuk, cadets Mykhailo Tatsiy and Nazar Kitsul. They took the  3rd place in the category "Vocal Ensemble".

Between  May19 and May 22, 2017 European Championships in unarmed self-defence took place in Minsk.
Cadet of Lviv State University of Life Safety Petro Davydenko was a member of the national team of Ukraine. He managed to win the 3rd place and to bring the bronze medal to our team in the weight category up to 90 kilograms.
