Due to friendly cooperation with Polish colleagues, the children of LSULS employees had the opportunity to spend two exciting weeks in the city of Bolina (Poland). They visited a lot of interesting places and museums, such as the Church of the Holy Cross of the 11th century and the tomb of Yeremiy Vyshnevetskyi in Nova Slupa, the Museum of Nature and Technology "Ekomusei" named after Jan Pazdur in Strahovice, the Museum of World War II in Skarzysko-Kamienna.

Postgraduate students of the Department of Environmental Safety of the Lviv State University of Life Safety Kateryna Korol, Iryna Fediv, Roman Konanets, Oleh Tyndyk, Andriy Voloshchyshyn took part in the online Bioleaching summer school at the Freiberg Mining Academy (Germany, Saxony) (July 4th-6th). The summer school was aimed at master's and postgraduate students. The course included interactive learning and workshops. The summer school covered topics from bioleaching microorganisms and various processes related to the processing of technical and industrial waste.

On June 2, Lviv State University of Life Safety hosted a meeting of University representatives, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Health and the SES of Ukraine with a delegation of the Kingdom of Spain represented by nun Lucia Caram, a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of children and Henry Peter Kwofie - Lucia Caram's personal assistant.

As part of a student R&D project, under the mentorship of Oleksandr Prydatko, Vitaliy Dzen and Mykhailo Kuninets, students of the Computer Science educational program, developed the UniBell information and reference system. For the user, it is presented as a mobile application for the Android operating system. After registration, the application allows one-click access to information on the training schedule for a specific day (date range). The system integrates the function of finding free classrooms, finding a teacher or study group.

On December 16, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine solemnly awarded the Diploma to the winners of the project “Hackathon of Coal Mining Cities. Get new ideas ”of the scientific team“ EcoMining ”of Lviv State University of Life Safety consisting of Ph.D., Professor Vasyl POPOVYCH, Ph.D., Taras SHUPLAT, Ph.D., Pavlo BOSAK, Ph.D. Oleh STOKALIUK, Iryna KOCHMAR and postgraduate students of the Department of Environmental Safety Kateryna KOROL and Andrii VOLOSHCHYSHYN.
