Today practical workshops in the organization of rescue works in liquidation of chemically hazardous objects were held in a training grounds of our University. Research and teaching staff of the department of tactics and rescue operations in the discipline "Organization of rescue operations" conducted another practical workshop with cadets of the graduation rate of the Institute of Fire and Technological Safety.

The International Conference FESE 2018 (Fire and Environmental Safety Engineering 2018) was held on November 7-8, 2018 at the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
Co-organizers of the conference, the Lviv State University of Life Safety (LSU LS) and the Main School of Fire Service of the Republic of Poland (MSFS), provide a platform to promote quality research in an atmosphere of true international cooperation between scientists and industry.

Today at the Lviv State University of Life Safety business meeting of acting Rector of the University of Myroslav Koval , Mykola Chechotkin , the head of State emergency service of Ukraine and the delegation of the Turkish Republic headed by the Head of Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) In Turkey Dr. Mehmet Gulluoglu was conducted. The excursion to the territory was held for the guests of the educational institution, the materials and technical base were demonstrated, as well as training fire-rescue unit, the museum and psycho-training center.
