The national and international ratings of higher educational institutions of Ukraine "Top 200 Ukraine", "Scopus" and "Webometrix", each of which use different evaluation criteria, are used as the starting point for compiling the consolidated rating of higher educational institutions of Ukraine by the most authoritative experts and mass media. On July 14, 2017, the legendary person, a professional who carried out a number of reforms in the Polish Fire and Rescue Service, the first Chief Commandant of the State Fire Service of Poland, Lieutenant-General Felix Della passed away. He was born on October 4, 1943 in the village of Kalina Mala. In 1967 he graduated from the School of Fire Service Officers in Warsaw. In 1978 he was promoted to a professional engineer at the High School of Fire Service. At the same time he got a second degree in management in the University of Silesia in Katowice.

On July 4 at the meeting of the specialized academic council D 26.062.09 (National Aviation University) Associate Professor Vasyl Popovich successfully defended the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Sciences (Engineering). The theme of the tesis: "Ecological and man-made danger of landfills and scientific fundamentals of phytomelioration measures on their decommissioning" (specialty 21.06.01 - ecological safety).

Representatives from Lviv State University of Life Safety participated in EFSCA General Assembly and International Conference "New technologies of volunteers' training" in Oranienburg (Germany). The Assembly was held between May 30 and June 3, 2017. The delegation of LSULS consisted of the Vice-Rector for logistics and management Colonel Roman Ratushnyi and specialist of the International Cooperation  Sector Lt. Natalya Lazarenko.

On June 1, 2017 the Department of Humanities and Social and Work in cooperation with the NGO "Free Galicia" organized and conducted tour to Lviv State University of Life Safety for 120 children of secondary school. .
Children had an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the University, its academic and material resources. In particular, they visited classrooms, library, Center of culture and art, sports and athletic halls, attended the museum of the history of our institution.
