The All-Ukrainian Olympiad for Ecologists took place in Ukraine, among which Natalia Hrynchyshyn, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Safety at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, took second place and became the only representative of higher education institutions in Ukraine.

On November 25, as part of the ERASMUS + project, Associate Professor Nazarii Burak held a seminar on "Cyber security in Ukraine: analysis of the current state" for teachers and students of Kingston University (London, UK). During the seminar, current issues of Ukraine in the field of development of information technology and information protection were considered. The topic of the seminar aroused the interest of attendants.

From September 20 to October 20, the University adjunct, the captain of civil service Kateryna KOROL finished her academic mobility at the Freiberg Mining Academy in the program framework "Scientific cooperation with the Universities of developing countries" of international project "EcoMining: development of integrated graduate program for sustainable mining and environmental activities" in Germany.

As part of the cooperation between the Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Main School of Fire Service (Warsaw, Republic of Poland) on joint master's studies, regular defenses of master's theses were successfully held. Dmytro Ruzhytskyi and Marko Barbadyn, graduates of our university, presented their dissertations in English and Polish languages for consideration by a joint Polish-Ukrainian examination commission, which included Ivan Pasnak, Deputy Head of the Institute for Educational and Scientific Work of the Institute for Fire and Technogenic Safety.

On February 9, Lviv State University of Life Safety hosted a seminar "Educational mobility of students with Kingston University in the framework of the ERASMUS + program", where cadets and students who study at Kingston University in London were reporting. At this event were covered the topics about curriculum, types of control, the material and technical base of a foreign educational institution. During the seminar there were many questions about the prospects and possibilities of further mobility.
