Patriotic Sport Games "Cossack’s fun" Took Place at the University

​October 16, 2015 on the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks the annual sport and entertainment competition "Cossack funs" was held on the sport complex of LDU LS.

​In Lviv State University of Life Safety work continues at the International Day of adult education. There was a scientific and practical conference "Metropolitan Andrii Sheptytskyi - the spiritual father of Ukrainian people."

Lviv State University of Life Safety conducts occupational guidance for schoolchildren

​More than 30 students of comprehensive school № 66 of Lviv visited the university. The event was a  part of a widespread occupational guidance among the youth of Lviv region and other regions of Ukraine. 

The tenth competition of translators among seniors "Lviv European" was held at the University

​On March 15, in Lviv on Second Round, the tenth translators competition among seniors "Lviv European" was held. The contest organizers were the translation company "Language Center" in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Technical Translation from Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Department of Translation Theory and Applied Linguistics named after H. Kochur from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Participants of the panel discussion have described the portrait of the modern hero

O. A. Kryvopyshyna, the head of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, Doctor of Psychological Science, has organized the panel discussion called "The Psychology of action: a portrait of the modern hero." The lecturers of the department of applied psychology and pedagogy, humanities and social work, students and cadets with the cpecialization in  "Applied Psychology" of Lviv State University of Life Safety, as well as the lecturers and students of "Lviv Polytechnic" National University with the cpecialization in "Applied Psychology" and "Social work" took part in the meeting.

The seminars of the department of foreign languages and technical translation took place

​During the week, the lecturers of the department of foreign languages ​​and technical translation held a regular session of Methodological Seminar of foreign language lecturers of Ukrainian educational institutions and the seminar "Theory and Practice of Military and Technical Translation." 

Chiefs of operational and rescue units of SES of Ukraine passes psychological tests concerning actions in emergency situation conditions.

On January 13-25 at the faculty of pre-university training and postgraduate education in Lviv State University of Life Safety Chiefs of operational fire and rescue units of SES of Ukraine improved their qualification and specialization.

 

Scientists of the University were involved in international investigative project in the area of human safety

​Lviv State University of Life Safety was visited by professor Z. Yegingil (Turkey) and professor S. Ubizskyi (Ukraine) who realize investigative project «New dosimetry for establishing care assistance sequence for people who were affected by ionizing emission» which is as a part of NATO programme «Science for the sake of peace and safety».

Approximately 1000 people visited Lviv State University of Life Safety during Welcome Day

​Approximately 1000 young boys and girls with their parents visited Lviv State University of Life Safety and acquainted with conditions of entrance and studying.
